Police received the post-mortem report of Naogaon land office employee Sultana Jasmine (40) who died in RAB custody. On Sunday afternoon, the forensic department of Rajshahi Medical College handed over the autopsy report to the police. It said that the injuries seen were not sufficient to cause death. Hemorrhage due to rupture of weak blood vessel was given as the cause of death.


After Jasmine's death, a three-member medical board conducted an autopsy at Rajshahi Medical College's mortuary on March 25. The head of this board was Kofil Uddin, head of forensic department of Rajshahi Medical College. He expressed his inability to directly tell the media what was the cause of death in the autopsy report.





Investigating officer of the case, Subas Chandra Barman, confirmed the information after receiving the post-mortem report. However, he asked to contact the spokesperson of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police to know the information of the report. Spokesperson Rafiqul Alam told Prothom Alo on Monday afternoon that he was not given any document. A few chhatras are given an information to talk about. He didn't get it yet.


However, according to the post-mortem report, after the tests, the doctors have concluded that Sultana Jasmine died due to abnormal bleeding due to rupture of a blood vessel inside the head. The head injuries mentioned in the surathal report are not sufficient to cause death.

Enamul Haque alleged that a person named Jasmin and Al-Amin hacked his (Enamul's) Facebook ID and lured various people with jobs. In this way they were stealing money by cheating.


Meanwhile, on the morning of March 24, the day after the arrest, Jasmine died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. After his death, a case filed by Enamul Haque, Joint Secretary, Digital Security Act, at the Rajpara police station in Rajshahi came to light on March 23 afternoon at the time of record. Jasmin and his alleged accomplice Al-Amin were charged in this. RAB arrested Al-Amin from Dhaka on March 26. He is a mobile banking agent.
