This was confirmed in a notification signed by Chowdhury Samia Yasmin, Deputy Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education on Tuesday (January 2).
Education Board sources said, Dr. Md. Nizamul Karim previously served as Director General of National Academy of Education Management (NAEM).
This officer of 14th batch of BCS general education cadre served as secretary of National Curriculum and Textbook Board. Prior to this, he held important duties as College Inspector in Comilla Education Board and DPD in TQI Scheme.
The academic and practical experience of this officer in the field of administrative, educational management and training is highly appreciated by the education cadre.
